The Problem

A Vehicle Most Detailers Wouldn't Touch

This one came to us after sitting with organic material left inside long enough for a full carpet weevil infestation to take hold — the shells had broken down into what looked like dust across the floor and seats. The interior was contaminated top to bottom.

A lot of shops would turn a job like this away. We don't. When it's bad enough that you need a mask and gloves just to sit in the driver's seat, that's exactly the kind of work our team is built for. The plan: strip it to the metal, decontaminate every surface, and rebuild it clean.

Step 01 · Assessment

Documenting the Damage

Debris, organic buildup, and weevil casings worked into the carpet fibers and floor. Before any cleaning starts, we document the full extent so nothing gets missed.

Step 02 · Tear-Down

Pulling the Carpet & Padding

Surface cleaning won't fix an infestation this deep. The carpet and crumbling foam underlay came out completely — the only way to reach what's living underneath.

Step 03 · Bare Metal

Down to the Floor Pan

With everything removed, we exposed the bare floor pan and cleaned out every contaminated bracket, channel, and seam. This is the step most "deep cleans" skip.

Step 04 · Decontamination

Deep-Wash & Extraction

The removed carpet and components were pressure-washed and treated off the vehicle — you can see the years of buildup running right off. Every piece was decontaminated before anything went back in.

Step 05 · Rebuild

Cleaned, Reassembled, Returned

Seats and interior cleaned, components dried and reinstalled, cabin treated. A vehicle that was unusable when it arrived — back together and back to its owner.

How We Did It

The Process, Start to Finish

Full Interior Removal

Carpet, padding, and seats pulled to reach the contamination at the source.

Bare-Floor Decontamination

Every seam, bracket, and channel cleaned — not just what you can see.

Pressure-Wash & Extraction

Components deep-cleaned off the vehicle until the water ran clear.

Cabin Treatment

Surfaces treated and the interior aired out over multiple days.

Careful Reassembly

Dried components reinstalled to factory fit — no shortcuts on the rebuild.

Final Inspection

Checked top to bottom before it went back to the customer.

The Result

From "Can't Even Sit In It" to Back on the Road

This is the kind of job that defines what we do. Not every detail is a quick wash-and-go — sometimes a vehicle needs a full decontamination and rebuild to be usable again. Our team has the experience and the stomach for the jobs other shops won't take.

If your vehicle has a problem you think is beyond saving, there's a good chance we've already seen worse — and brought it back.
